About Us
Dave Hinkle and Alexander Sliwinski entered this world at different times, through different means — but they were always destined to unite. Their appreciation for culture and hunger for new, exciting things ultimately caused them to undertake a cooking podcast and website called The DnA Foodcast.
Dave’s inability to do anything right (including, well, cooking) along with Alexander’s latchkey child-educated palette and sensibility hopefully provide a dynamic unseen on the internet, let alone anywhere else in the world. Each week, the two will attempt to create dishes submitted by you, the reader/listener — Dave will probably mess something up and Alexander will do his best to push through the unknown. It’s a fun show!
Both Dave and Alexander thank you for you stopping by and have their fingers crossed you’ll wanna stick around. At the least, you’re bound to get a tasty meal out of the arrangement and, really, who could turn that down?

Long time listener of the X3F love the new show. In the military live in the barracks on base all I have to cook with is a microwave. Would love to here more recipes that use a microwave to cook with.

oh side note … episodes 1 through 3 are listed on one icon in my podcast folder in itunes, but episodes 4 and 5 are in a totally different folder. I am probably not using the correct term when I say folder, but in itunes, podcasts, lists all the podcasts I subscribe to … and you have two listed. Just try to help :)

Dear Dave and Alexander,
I will be honest, I just started listening to the food podcast after listening to some old X3F podcasts. I was wondering if any of these recipes you have received have inspired you to develop your own recipes, perhaps something which could be used to appease our future overlords, dropbears. Also, I see the foodcast is a subsidiary of the dropbear business venture and I was curious, are drop bears segmented in groups like space marines in warhammer?
